Bad Hair

is a conversation about natural hair within the Black community. I started this project as a way to reflect on my own experiences with my hair. When I became natural, I gained a community of people who went through similar struggles and triumphs as I did. I collected stories and paired them with images. In the end, this body of work represents each individual story and shows the endless beauty of Black hair.
